I reviewed this resource and found it to be a great way to observe a typical confrontation between students and faculty and advice on what should be done based on the advice of a consultant (found at the bottom of the script that follows the video case). The University of Minnesota’s Center for Teaching and Learning, for example, have a series of streaming videos at http://www1.umn.edu/ohr/teachlearn/tutorials/conflict/index.html that were produced to help faculty avoid difficult student confrontations before they happen by analyzing and responding to scenarios.
